Revised 9/7/2022 - Waiting for iOS 16 before editing this list of apps.

The Fall 2021 pdf handout highlighted below might prompt you to open in Dropbox app or account. This download process seems new. You are looking for a down arrow button to download to your computer. It is ideal that you PRINT this 11 page handout - in color. Previous participants do not have to reprint handout, only 2 apps are new.  >> 2021 FALL App Catalog with icons organized by Workflow, Camera, Editing and Stylizing Camera pages updated Spring 2024. Dismiss the login prompt to see the document <<.  Printed back-to-back this handout is six pages. You could also import the PDF document into Apple Books instead. The app icons are a good reminder of the specific app to download and what to find on your iOS devices. This handout is designed for you to add comments about what you want to explore or what catches your attention with listed and demonstrated apps. Additional space is included to add notes when other participants share app discoveries.

Read Develop Your Photograph for an idea on how apps work together and the iDownload Blog review of Apple's Markup Extension in the Edit mode of Photos. Markup is a great way to annotate images and keep track of your settings.

The app links below should open directly to iTunes or the App Store for the intended app. This research should save you time and money for getting the exact apps we suggest.

Purchase/Download apps from Camera+2 to Walgreens before our first class!
Purchase/Download apps from PhotoSync to Diptic for our second class. Purchase/Download apps from RAW Power to Pixelmator for our third class. Some apps are marked "Optional" for the more adventerous photo editors and photo-stylists.

Other apps on this list are conversation starters with seminar participants. Some apps are for photography and photo editing while others are for stylizing images and printing. This semester you might not download all these apps. But after you see what is posted to the Shared Photo Album you will be downloading more apps. While some apps are marked "optional" after demos and research you will appreciate their power.

Remember, iOS 15 was released in September 2021. We want to review important apps in our creative workflow to be sure they are updated and compatible with the new operating system.  Apple updated iOS 14 to include AppleRAW image format for iPhone 12 Pro. Many of our apps have released updates that include this format.

iDownload Blog reviewed Apple's Markup Extension << this is a power feature in iOS, iPadOS and MacOS.

We will use Apple Photos > Albums & Shared to share our work.
